Some people mistakenly believe that love is only an emotion which you experience sometimes. No, love is the first cause of all life. Love is light and heat and life itself. Love operates and is active on every plane of our being; from the lowest on earth to the highest in heaven. On the lowest of them, we only know it as a passion that sears, burns and consumes but on the highest plane, it creates and gives life.
There is emotional love and then, there is SPIRITUAL LOVE. This is an even greater, denser and more profound and acute type of love. We hear about the ‘touching of souls’. To me, this is when we experience Divine Love and now realise the difference and the contrast to even the highest form of emotional love.
Spiritual Love
Spiritual love can present itself in different forms and in different ways as each individual, being on their own path, could link to the experience of Divine Love at any time on their life’s journey. In due time, this experience will come to each and every one of us. The light will flood our being and all our gifts will be enhanced by the incoming of this divine fire, this magic, this creative Power which is Love.

One thing’s for sure, once you know and experience spiritual love, perspectives change and what you once thought was love changes too as a new and unbelievably deeper form of ‘spiritual’ love is exposed. It wraps itself around you and now the parallels and comparisons to emotional love become obvious. Love illuminates your heart and life as well as your countenance so that light goes forth to others through your mind, through your emotions, through your speech and every action.
Because of the Law of Cause and Effect, “What you sow, so you will reap” – what you do, what you say, how you conduct yourself throughout your life, has an effect, not only on the here and now but in the spirit realm and the lives thereafter that you will lead. So, you have a choice? If your life here is built on negativity then it will be in the darkness of negativity that you will dwell in spirit. But, if your life here is built on positive things, on love, on giving, on service – it doesn’t matter whether you believe in God or go to church – you walk a spiritual road and you build in the realms of Light.
